A little bit about me...
I'm a busy mom of teenage boys, married to my high-school sweetheart. I have a real passion for creating and pouring candles. You can find my candles at Town Peddler Craft and Antique Mall in Livonia in Booth 100C (the first booth down the center aisle, right across from the check-out counter). I am grateful to my amazing friends, family, and loyal customers for supporting my candle business over the years.
I personally hand-pour all of my candles. I am very particular what scents and products I use. My goal is to make the best hand-poured candles I can, so my customer come back year after year. I use all-natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils. I use jars designed for their simplicity and elegance. I do not dye my candles for two reasons; one, to keep my candles as natural as possible; and two, so they fit into any décor! I test each batch of candles to make sure I am making and selling the best quality candle possible.
In addition to candles, I also make body and fabric safe fragrance sprays using premium fragrances. I do lots of research to find the best products to be safe not only for your home but also for your body. Some of my fragrances work best as a room freshener (and last a long time!) and some are perfect for a body spray! Move over Bath and Body works!
Well, if you made it this far, thank you! I’m so excited for you to try my soy candles. I started pouring candles all the way back in 2008. I love burning candles, but it became clear very shortly after our youngest was born that store-bought paraffin candles irritated his asthma. I looked for a better alternative to paraffin candles and found soy wax. I spent over a year perfecting my recipe and pour technique. I started pouring just for our home, then gave a few away as gifts, and then started getting requests to make more and now here I am, blessed to be able to make candles for you and your family and friends! I hope you enjoy your candles as much as I enjoy making them!
